CakesSweetness by Camille is Trinidad's most beloved boutique wedding cake studio, where every tier tells a love story. Founded by pastry artist Camille Joseph in 2017, the studio has earned a devoted following for its extraordinary craftsmanship, exquisite flavours, and cakes that are as beautiful as they are delicious — creations that guests are still talking about years after the last slice has been served.
Camille's journey began in her grandmother's kitchen in Sangre Grande, where she fell in love with the alchemy of sugar and flour. After formal training at Le Cordon Bleu London and an apprenticeship with a renowned Parisian pâtissier, she returned to Trinidad with a suitcase full of techniques and a heart full of Caribbean flavour. The combination has proven irresistible.
Every Sweetness by Camille creation begins with a tasting session — an indulgent two-hour experience at our Maraval studio where couples sample up to twelve signature flavours and discuss their cake's aesthetic vision. Our flavours range from our best-selling Caribbean Rum and Passionfruit to Champagne and Elderflower, Dark Chocolate Truffle, Guava Cheesecake, and the ever-popular Coconut Pandan. We accommodate all dietary requirements including gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options without ever compromising on taste.
On the design side, Camille and her team are equally accomplished. Each cake is a bespoke sculpture, painstakingly finished in smooth fondant, hand-painted watercolour washes, intricate sugar flowers, or architectural acrylic and gold leaf details — whatever your vision demands. We've created everything from a three-tier garden cake adorned with hundreds of individually crafted sugar hibiscus flowers to a minimalist six-tier geometric masterpiece with gold geometric panels.
Our wedding cake packages include delivery and professional on-site setup by our team, ensuring your cake arrives in perfect condition and is displayed exactly as envisioned. We also offer dessert table curation — coordinating complementary sweet treats including macarons, cake pops, bonbons, mini tarts, and our iconic sweet bread pudding bites — for a full Caribbean dessert experience.
Sweetness by Camille is a boutique studio, accepting a limited number of wedding bookings each month to maintain the highest standards of quality and personal service. We recommend enquiring at least six months in advance for peak wedding season. Private tastings are available by appointment only.
