Founded by husband-and-wife team Marcus and Alicia Ramirez, the studio has spent over a decade perfecting a natural light philosophy that turns every ceremony, reception, and intimate moment into timeless art. Our approach begins long before your wedding day. We invest in getting to know you — your personalities, your love story, and the details that make your relationship unique. Tropic Lens Studio specialises in both photography and cinematic videography, offering seamlessly integrated packages that ensure your memories are preserved in every dimension. Our films are story-driven productions — not highlight reels — crafted with bespoke soundscapes and colour grading that evokes the warmth of the Caribbean sun. Screened at two international wedding film festivals, our videos have been praised for their narrative depth and emotional resonance. We are fluent in the diversity of Trinidad's wedding landscape. From intimate garden ceremonies in Diego Martin to grand receptions in the ballrooms of Port of Spain, from Hindu mandap rituals to Catholic nuptials and civil ceremonies at sunset on Maracas Bay — we honour every tradition with the respect and artistry it deserves. Our portfolio spans all cultures and faiths across the twin islands. The Tropic Lens team includes three lead photographers and two videographers, each with formal training in fine-art photography and cinema. We use only professional-grade mirrorless cameras and cinema lenses, drone footage where permitted, and stabilised gimbal rigs for fluid motion capture. Every image is hand-edited in our bespoke colour palette, and every film is colour-graded to cinematic standards. Packages begin with our Essentials tier — a single photographer for eight hours with a digital gallery of 500 images. Our Premier and Signature tiers add second shooters, engagement sessions, cinematic video, drone coverage, and luxury album printing.
